Our Annual Clinical Trials Symposium held online on the 20th of November 2020, is the place where the clinical research actors meet to discuss the unprecedented challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Therefore, the industry and their collaborators are invited to attend and show their commitment to health and life in these unsecured times.
The opening theme is of great interest for Romania: “Strategies to Speed-up the Review Timelines by the National Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices in Romania (NADMDR)”. The discussions will start with very fresh and accurate data from the IQVIA report on the development of the clinical trials market in Romania, a document published in September 2020.
Other five panel discussions and two presentations will cover subjects such as the epidemiologic context of COVID-19 infection, obstacles in patient enrollment, latest updates regarding the implementation of the EU CTR 536/2014, the study set up and vendor selection in times of COVID-19 pandemic, patient perspective for participation in clinical trials, etc.
38 speakers will share their experience in front of an audience of various professionals interested in the clinical research arena. The speakers are decision-makers from the regulatory authorities representing Romania and other European Countries, high-level representatives of the international biopharmaceutical industry, regulatory affairs specialists, KOLs/ study investigators, CRO representatives, patient associations, journalists.
